This is an all levels, blissful, playful slow flow vinyasa class taught by Dawn of Sitka Yoga with guest musician, iLko. iLko is a Vancouver based musician who strives to create a fresh experience for yogis and yoginis with his unique approach to music.
iLko is a musician and song writer of 20 some years that is not locked into any specific sound or genre; he dedicates himself fully to music, performance, event production that all carry a positive energy. “Under the stage name iLko, Major streams blended beats, everything from building chirping, high energy jammers to down-low 808’s in always danceable, digestible, fluid sets.” – The Source Weekly
Dawn is a 500-hr registered, experienced yoga teacher and is currently studying under Rod Stryker. Dawn teaches classes in Astoria, Oregon and Stafford Creek Correctional Facility, as well as hosts workshops and retreats.
100% proceeds goes to Yoga Behind Bars – WA State non-profit that offers daily yoga and meditation classes to women, men and youth behind bars, giving them opportunities for rehabilitation, growth and healing. Dawn of Sitka teaches for Yoga Behind Bars at Stafford Creek Correctional Facility.
